Noklak is a village in, and the location of the headquarters of Noklak district in the Indian state of Nagaland.

History

Noklak district was created on 21 December 2017, previously having been a sub-district of Tuensang district.[2]

Demographics

As of 2011 the 2011 census Noklak HQ had a population of 7,674, of which 48% were female, and where the literacy rate was 83%. 20% were children aged 6 or less.[1]

Administration

Noklak is the location of the ADC office and of a police station.[3]
