In 1996, Beck was added to the cast of Darren Star's CBS primetime soap Central Park West, during its retooling and retitling to CPW.[5] In 2000, she was a series regular on the comedy TV series Tucker.[6] She also had the distinction of guest starring in a first season episode of Sex and the City, as Mr. Big's ex-wife, in episode 8, "Three's a Crowd," which originally aired on July 26, 1998.
She appeared in Law & Order and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit as Stephanie Mulroney and in Law & Order: Criminal Intent as Tina Davenport, and returned to Criminal Intent in 2011 to play Debra Brite.
