Noah Shachtman
Noah Shachtman is an American journalist and musician. He is currently the Editor in Chief of The Daily Beast.[1] He previously served as Executive Editor[2] of the site. A former non-resident fellow at The Brookings Institution,[3] he also worked as Executive Editor for News at Foreign Policy magazine.[4] Shachtman has reported from Afghanistan,[5] Israel, Iraq,[6] Qatar, Russia,[7] and Kuwait.[3] But he is perhaps best known as the founder and editor of Wired magazine's national security site, 'Danger Room,'[8][9] which won a National Magazine Award for reporting in digital media [10] and an Online Journalism Award for best beat reporting.[11]
