Nishat Ahmad Khan Daha is a Pakistani politician who had been a Member of the Provincial Assembly of the Punjab, from 2008 to May 2018.

Early life

He was born on 15 January 1948 in Khanewal.[1]

He graduated in 1969 from the University of Sargodha and has the degree of the Bachelor of Arts.[1]

Political career

He was elected to the Provincial Assembly of the Punjab as a candidate of Pakistan Peoples Party from Constituency PP-214 (Khanewal-III) in Pakistani general election, 2008.[2] He received 44,525 votes and defeated a candidate of Pakistan Muslim League (Q).[3] During his tenure as Member of the Punjab Assembly, he served as Parliamentary Secretary for Mines and Minerals from 2009 to 2011.[1]

He was re-elected to the Provincial Assembly of the Punjab as a candidate of Pakistan Muslim League (N) (PML-N) from Constituency PP-214 (Khanewal-III) in Pakistani general election, 2013.[4][5]

He was re-elected to Provincial Assembly of the Punjab as a candidate of PML-N from Constituency PP-206 (Khanewal-IV) in Pakistani general election, 2018.[6]
