Nikil Saval

Nikil Saval is an American writer, editor and journalist.

Career

Nikil Saval is a Philadelphia-based writer. He is co-editor of n+1.[1]

His book, Cubed: A Secret History of the Workplace, published in 2014, examines the long-term evolution of the office from its roots in nineteenth century 'counting houses' to contemporary 'cubicles' where 60% of Americans work, and considers how such workplaces could be improved in the future.

He is also a community organizer and activist in South Philadelphia with Reclaim Philadelphia, an organization that formed out of the 2016 Bernie Sanders Presidential Campaign and, among other accomplishments, helped elect District Attorney Larry Krasner. As of June 4, 2018, is the Democratic Ward Leader of Philadelphia's 2nd Ward.[2]
