Nick Bell (born 17 December 1983) is an English Businessman and currently serves as Vice President of Content at Snap Inc, makers of Snapchat where he reports to CEO Evan Spiegel.[1] Bell was formerly Senior Vice President of Digital at News Corporation.[2] He is known for his entrepreneurial ventures setting up a group of websites during the dot com boom of the late nineties, earning almost a million pounds from the sale of Teenfront.com at the age of 16. His later ventures included a sunbed and spray tanning company inside Tesco stores and an audiovisual equipment company. Bell attended The Royal Grammar School, Newcastle.[3]

Early life and education

Bell was born in Wallsend, Newcastle Upon Tyne, England and attended the Royal Grammar School in Newcastle.[4] His father is a farmer and his mother a Schoolteacher.

Snap Inc

Bell joined Snapchat from News Corp in early 2014 and is described as one of Evan Spiegel’s closest lieutenants. Bell has been the one in charge of turning it into full-fledged media company leading its content strategy, including Live and Discover.[5]
