Nexeon MedSystems,OTC:QB NXNN Inc. is an bioelectronics company focused on providing innovative neurostimulation products that improve the quality of life of patients suffering from debilitating neurological disease. Nexeon has developed and commercialized the Synapse™ neurostimulation system, an adaptive, closed-loop platform that can be utilized to treat a variety of neurological diseases.[3][4]

History

Nexeon MedSystems Inc was originally founded in 2005 by Dr. Mark C. Bates under the name Paragon Intellectual Properties.[5] In 2008, the company restructured and become Nexeon.[6][7]

In 2015, Nexeon underwent a change of control and was incorporated in the state of Nevada and has headquarters in Dallas, TX, with subsidiaries in San Juan, Puerto Rico, and Liege, Belgium.[5] In December 2015, a transaction was agreed upon that led to the creation of a new Nexeon MedSystems Inc. (a Nevada based c-corp) to house the assets associated with this entity.[8]

Products and services

Nexeon MedSystems develops and manufactures external and implantable med-tech products and the corresponding remote monitoring and data acquisition IT systems for the relief of chronic diseases and disorders.[9][10][11]
