New Media Technology College

New Media Technology College, Dublin (2000 - 2014) offered a range of BTEC, MA courses in film, photography, animation, game design, 3D, music, performing arts, graphic design and journalism. The college won a number of awards including a Golden Spiders Award and a Digital Media Award.

NMTC delivered high-level education programmes in Eastern Europe and North Africa on behalf of the European Broadcasting Union, Geneva. The college was internationally recognised for its unique eLearning courses and had over 400 online tutorials on its website. In 2004 it signed a 2 year deal with the EBU to deliver new media eLearning programmes. NMTC production company Hypermedia7 Ltd. created the animated 3D logo for the Eurovision Song Contest 2012-13 (with music by the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra).

From 2000- 2003 NMTC delivered Irish government funded media industry training programmes. These courses had a 2-year waiting list and 100% employment success rate.

Over the years a wide variety of industry professionals from the UK and Ireland guest lectured onsite and online. NMTC graduates progressed onto various academic institutions including École Nationale Supérieure Louis-Lumière, Trinity College Dublin and the University of Southern California.

In 2014 the College had 24 master's degree graduates in Film, Photography and Animation.
