Neogalerucella calmariensis is a species in the family Chrysomelidae ("leaf beetles"), in the order Coleoptera ("beetles").[1][2] The species is known generally as the "black-margined loosestrife beetle".[3] The distribution range of Neogalerucella calmariensis includes Europe & Northern Asia (excluding China) and North America.[2]
