Neo Cali is a studio album by the electronic musician known as Vektroid, released in 2011 under the label PrismCorp.[1] The album's genre was originally recognized as "DOSWave,"[2] a genre created by Vektroid herself to describe her early studio albums, with some influences from other genres and sub-genres, most notably New Age music. The album is one of Vektroid's most famous works and the cover art is one of the genre's most recognizable (after Floral Shoppe). Neo Cali was originally released on October 7, 2011 on Vektroid's Bandcamp page.[2] The album samples music from the 1970s and 1980s.[3]
