Nee Bareda Kadambari (Kannada: ನೀ ಬರೆದ ಕಾದಂಬರಿ; English: The Novel you wrote) is a 1985 Indian Kannada language film directed and produced by Dwarakish, making his first entry as a director. The film starred Vishnuvardhan,[1] Bhavya and C. R. Simha in the lead roles.[2] The music was composed by Vijay Anand and the dialogues & lyrics were written by Chi. Udaya Shankar along with R. N. Jayagopal.
The film is a remake of Hindi film Pyar Jhukta Nahin (1985) directed by Vijay Sadanah and starring Mithun Chakraborty along with Padmini Kohlapure.[3] Dwarakish directed the Tamil remake Naan Adimai Illai with Rajinikanth and Sridevi.
