Fatema Jannat Raihana Nazmee ( Bengali: ফাতেমা জান্নাত রায়হানা নাজমী) better known as Nazmee Jannat is a Bangladeshi costume designer,[1] fashion stylist [2] and TV anchor.[3] She is the costume designer of renowned film Dhaka Attack [4] and also directed several fashion shows.[5] Nazmee has been contributing in the fashion industry by motivating young people towards fashion education.[6]

Early life

Nazmee completed her schooling in Darjeeling. After finishing her graduation from Shanto-Mariam University of Creative Technology, soon she joined as a faculty member in Uttara University. Currently she is serving as a lecturer of fashion designing in the very same institute.[7]

Career

She started her career as costume designer for different corporate photo-shoots, music videos, fashion shows.[8] Within a short time her works got widespread acclamation and she was requested to direct costume designing for notable films.[9] Afterwards she was chosen by the Dhaka Attack team for serving as a costume designer and the movie turned out to be one of the biggest blockbuster movies of Bangladeshi film industry. Her works have received critical acclamation.[10] Currently she is working on the integration of transgender people in fashion industry.[1] Besides these, often she starred in music videos, TV Commercials as a model.[11]
