National Security Strategy (India)

The National Security Strategy (NSS) is a document prepared periodically by the executive branch of the Government of India which outlines the major national security concerns of the India and how the administration plans to deal with them.

The Defence Planning Committee a senior decision-making mechanism created In April 2018 by the Central Government of India[1] According to the notification issued by Indian Government the DPC will have several mandates including a task to Prepare a draft National Security Strategy for India.[1]
