Nation Awakes is an upcoming Pakistani science fiction superhero film directed by Umair Nasir Ali,[2] written and produced by Aamir Sajjad under production banner Aamir Sajjad Ventures. Aamir Sajjad is playing the lead role in the film.[3]

Production

The film will be produced by Aamir Sajjad in his production studio Aamir Sajjad Ventures. Its production budget will be around ₨200 million (US$1.9 million) to ₨255 million (US$2.4 million).[1] Nation Awakes will be Pakistan's first superhero feature film.[2] The film's composer is Sahir Ali Bagga, with vocals by Sara Raza Khan.[4]

Filming

Nation Awakes will be filmed in 12 countries and has scripts in both English and Urdu. Casting began in April 2013 and a trailer released that June.[4]
