Narayanpur is a small village located in Purandhar valley in Pune district, Maharashtra, India. It is located about 35km southerly to Pune city. One can reach Narayanpur from Pune either from Dive ghat and Saswad or from Katraj Ghat and Mumbai-Pune-Satara Road. Narayanpur is situated at the bottom of famous Purandar fort. Lord Indra's second name is Purandar. This place became sacred because Indra made austerity on a nearby mountain, hence the name Purandhar valley. This place is also known as Narayanpur by the ancient Narayaneshwar temple. Narayanpur is also the village of Changdev Maharaj.

Narayanpur must be seen by both - the pilgrims as well as the nature lovers - because of 2 temples "Lord Datta" and "Narayaneshwar" and the beauty of the Purandar valley. In Monsoon season the scene of Purandar valley is beautiful. The famous Prati Balaji mandir at Ketkawale, is located 10 km far, ^[1]southerly to Narayanpur.

The temple of Narayaneshwar here is very old. This temple and 3 sculptures in the temple are very pretty. These sculptures are said to be of 'Yadav' era.

Narayanpur is famous for their Lord Ek Mukhi Datta. Usually lord Dattatreya has 3 faces but in Narayanpur there is Ek Mukhi Datta. The statue of Lord Ek Mukhi Datta is very beautiful. You can also see the Padukas i.e. footwear of Lord Datta here. These were placed in the sanctum by Lord Datta himself before he left for Samadhi. A tree of "Audumbar" here is very old and is worshiped by pilgrims.

Devotees come here year-round to listen to the "Pravachan" of Shri Sadguru Narayan Maharaj (Anna). The motto of Sadguru Narayan Maharaj is to awaken humanity in humans "माणसातला माणूस जागा करणे". Sadguru Narayan Maharaj is building "Char DattaDhams" in four different directions in India, of which 2 Dhams have already been completed. ^[2][3]

• First of the Char Dattadhams has been constructed in Madhya Pradesh "Shiva Datta Dham, Jalkoti, Maheshwar, Khargone Shiv Datta Dham, Jalkoti, Maheshwar, Madhya Pradesh"
• Second of the Char Dattadhams is in Kanyakumari Anusaya Datta Dham, Vattakottai, Kanyakumari"Anusaya Datta Dham, Vatta-kottai Vattakottai Fort, Anju Gramam, Kanyakumari".
• Third of the Char Dattadhams is near Kolkata "Bramha Datta Dham" and it is under construction situated in Bramha Datta Dham, Baruipara, Kolkata"Baruipara". This will be the largest Hindu temple in West Bengal.
