Nandu Madhav is an Indian actor known for his works in Marathi cinema. He has played the title role in Harishchandrachi Factory and has also coordinated a play called "Shivaji Underground in Bhimnagar Mohalla", in which he attempted to reveal insight into the genuine and little-known side of Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. He is also known for his role of an educated villager fighting for justice in the 1998 hit film Sarkarnama. His first lead role was as Dadasaheb Phalke in Paresh Mokashi's Harishchandrachi Factory (2010).[1]

He also played a role in the Marathi movie Bangarwadi (1995). Madhav has also appeared in Hindi movies such as Daayraa and Jis Desh Mein Ganga Rehta Hain.[1]

Early life

Nandu (Madhav is his dad's name, mother's name Parvati), is a Marathi theater performing artist. Nandu Madhav completed his school training in Taluka – Georai, District – Beed. He acquired B.Sc and L.L.B (gen) degrees from universities in Aurangabad.

Despite the fact that Madhav's family wasn't universal, it was unbelievable for somebody from a white collar class foundation to enter the cine field. Yet, being the child kin of 8 had its advantages.

He was presented to a social domain as a youngster and got the auditorium bug in his school days. He was acquainted with the greats/veterans, for example, Badal Sarkar, Habib Tanvir, Satyajit Ray and Akira Kurosawa, through his seniors (activists) while completing Law graduation in Aurangabad. This changed his point of view of this field to improve things. At a later stage, while going about as a vocation, he endeavored to stay consistent with what he had realized in these early days.[2]
