Nancy Anne Denton is an American sociologist. She is a professor of sociology at the University at Albany, SUNY, where she is also chair of the sociology department and a professor in the School of Public Policy.[1] She is known for her research on racial segregation in the United States with Douglas Massey,[2][3] with whom she co-authored the book American Apartheid.[4]
