Nalini Priyadarshni (born 26 April 1974) is an Indian poet and writer. She is widely published in India and world over in various literary journals and anthologies.

Early life

Nalini Priyadarshni was born in Jalandhar in 1974. Her parents were teachers in a mission school. She is youngest of the three sisters. Nalini graduated with English Honors from Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya, Jalandhar. For masters in English Literature, she joined Punjab University, Chandigarh. She worked as a high school teacher for several years before she started working as a freelance professional writer and editor.

Work

Nalini has written, poetry, short fiction, articles and books and film reviews. Her poetry and fiction has appeared in several online magazines and journals such as Yellow Chair Review, Calliope Magazine, The In-Flight Magazine, Poetry Breakfast etc.

Nalini is a contributing author to several international anthologies including Resonating Strings- Lehar Lehar Iktara, The Significant Anthology, Resonance, The Art of Being Human, Persona-IIM C Anthology etc.

She has edited and contributed to Contemporary Major Indian Women Poets published by The Poetry Society of India.

Nalini has authored a book of poems, Doppelganger In My House published by The Poetry Society of India.

Nalini has co authored a book of poems, Lines Across Oceans, With Dwight Russel Micnhimer

She has also compiled and edited several volumes of collected works of Madan Gopal Gandhi published by The Poetry Society of India, including Burnished Beads, Dervishes Dance, Bonsai Blossoms

Personal life

Nalini Priyadarshni is married to Vikas Singh and has two kids, Andrea Ashima and Hubert Harshwardhan and presently lives in Ludhiana, Punjab.
