The NLL Halifax is a box lacrosse team in the National Lacrosse League. They will play at the Scotiabank Centre in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
History
On September 13, 2018, the NLL approved a franchise relocation to the city of Halifax. The team will begin play in December 2019 with its home arena being the Scotiabank Centre. [1]
Curt Styres, owner the NLL's Rochester Knighthawks, will move the Knighthawks' roster and staff for the 2019-2020 season. The Knighthawks intellectual property(name, logo, history) was sold to Pegula Sports and Entertainment, owners of the Buffalo Bandits, who will operate a new expansion franchise from the 2019-2020 season under the Knighthawks moniker.[2][3]
