"My Second Home" is a song co-written and recorded by American country music singer Tracy Lawrence. It was released on September 16, 1993, as the third single from his album, Alibis. The song reached the top of the Billboard Hot Country Singles & Tracks (now Hot Country Songs) chart and peaked at number 6 on the Canadian RPM Country Tracks chart.[2] It was written by Lawrence with Paul Nelson and Kenny Beard.

Content

The bar that the narrator considers his "second home" becomes his only home after his wife kicks him out.

Music video

The music video was directed by Marc Ball and premiered in September 1993. It is a live performance, and features cameos from future superstars Toby Keith (who was just starting his career with two successful Top Five hits at the time of this video's release), Tim McGraw and Shania Twain, as well as established stars John Anderson, Tanya Tucker and William Lee Golden of the Oak Ridge Boys.
