Musical Story (Russian: Музыкальная история) is a 1940 Soviet musical comedy film directed by Aleksandr Ivanovsky[1] and Gerbert Rappaport.[2][3][4]

Plot

The film tells about the taxi driver Pete Govorkov, who rehearses Lensky's role in the local opera house. His talents are highly appreciated by the elderly singer and conductor of Macedon, but Petya quarrels with his girlfriend, because of what the performance may not take place.
