Murton Lane railway station served the village of Murton in the City of York, part of the Ceremonial County of North Yorkshire, from 1913 to 1926 on the Derwent Valley Light Railway.
History
The station opened in 1913 by the North Eastern Railway. It was situated north of Dunnington Halt and south of York (Layerthorpe) station. The station closed to both passengers and goods traffic in 1926.[1]
