Murder Live! is an American television film that first aired on NBC on March 9, 1997. Directed by Roger Spottiswoode, the film stars Marg Helgenberger, David Morse and Peter Horton, who also co-write the film.
Plot
Pia Postman is the host of a talk show called The Pia Postman Show. On the air, a member of the audience named Frank McGrath takes Pia hostage and tapes over Pia's mouth. Holding Pia responsible for his daughter's suicide after being humiliated on the show, Frank threatens to kill her on the air and also has a bomb strapped to himself if the police ever try to storm the place.[1]
