Muhammad Hasan Mahmud
Dr. Muhammad Hasan Mahmud (Bengali: মোহাম্মদ হাছান মাহমুদ; born 5 June 1963) is a Bangladesh Awami League politician who is the Member of Parliament (MP) for Chittagong-7 and chairman of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on the Ministry of Environment and Forests.
Career
Mahmud was the Minister for the Ministry of Environment and Forests of Bangladesh[1][2] He was the MP for Chittagong-6 from 2008 until 2014,[3] Minister of State for Foreign Affairs from January to July 2009 in Sheikh Hasina's cabinet, and then Minister of State for Environment and Forests until 2013.[4][5][6]
