Mugam (English: Face) is an upcoming Tamil thriller film directed by debutant Sriram D Prasath.[1] The film features Kalaiyarasan, Arundhati in the lead roles, with R.K. Suresh, Jagan, Mime Gopi playing supporting roles.[2][3] The film has a musical score by Achu Rajamani.[4]

Production

In April 2017, it was revealed that Kalaiyarasan would work on a thriller directed by a new director named Sriram D Prasath. The team also roped in Arundathi as the lead actress while they also roped in R.K. Suresh, Mime Gopi for supporting roles. Later, they signed actor Jagan to provide comic relief. Kalaiyarasan was busy shooting for multiple projects simultaneously. The team continued its shoot and wrapped it up by January 2018. Movie is currently under post production.

Music

Achu was roped in as the music director of Mugam. His hit number 'Oh Baby Girl' from the movie Maalai Pozhudhin Mayakathilaey was rebooted as a new version for this movie.

Release

On July 5th 2018, Directors Balaji Sakthivel and Vijay Milton released the first look of Mugam through twitter. An intense first look raised expectations and added spice to Kalaiyarasan's list of upcoming movies. Trailer of the movie is expected to release soon.
