Mount Vernon Independent School District
Mount Vernon Independent School District is a school district based in Mount Vernon, Texas (USA).
Located in Franklin County, a very small portion of the district extends into Hopkins County.
In 2009, the school district was rated "Worst school district in Texas" by the Texas Education Agency.[1]
