Mosheh Oinounou (born May 21, 1982)[1] is an American media executive who serves as executive producer of CBS Evening News.

Biography

Oinounou was born to a Jewish family[2] and raised in Chicago. He is a graduate of George Washington University where he was editor in chief of the school's biweekly newspaper, G.W. Hatchet. He began his career as a producer at Fox News Channel before later becoming an international editor at Bloomberg TV.[3] In 2011 he joined CBS News as a senior producer on the team that helped launch [4] CBS This Morning.[3] He then helped to establish CBSN, CBS' new digital streaming channel where he served as executive producer.[4][5] In January 2018, it was announced that he would be replacing Steve Capus as executive producer of CBS Evening News where he will oversee day-day operations and coordinate all news programming.[6]
