The Morgan oil field is an oil field located in the Gulf of Suez. It was discovered in 1965 and developed by Gulf of Suez Petroleum Company. It began production in 1966 and produces oil and natural gas. The total proven reserves of the Morgan oil field are around 2.7 billion barrels (362×106tonnes), and production is centered on 40,000 barrels per day (6,400 m3/d).[1]
