The Montreal Internet Exchange (QIX) was incorporated in 2013 as a not-for-profit Internet Exchange Point (IXP) located in Montreal (Quebec), Canada. It was originally created in 1995 and operated by the Réseau d'informations scientifiques du Québec (RISQ).
As of September 2018, QIX had 65 members.[1] The exchange is now averaging 80Gbps.[2]
