Monster Skatepark in October 2017

Monster Skatepark is a skatepark located in Sydney Olympic Park, New South Wales, Australia. Skaters can use the facility day and night as the park is equipped with full lighting and camera surveillance is operational 24 hours per day.[1][2][3]

This skatepark caught fire on May 12, 2017 with the blaze being categorised as a “sixth alarm", which is large and a loud bang was heard with thick smoke covering the roof of the venue.[4] [5] Only 10 percent of the skatepark has been burnt down. The skatepark is yet to reopen.[6]
