Monash Tech School is one of ten new Technical Schools initiative planned by the Victorian State Government[1]. It is hosted by Monash University's and administrated by John Monash Science School. Monash Tech School is currently located in its temporary facility at Federation Training in Chadstone, but will move to its permanent facility at [2] Monash University in 2019 [3].

The Tech School aims to gives students the skills to succeed in the jobs tomorrow. They develop hands-on learning programs that provide real-world experiences. With currently three-quarters of occupations require sciences, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) skills. Their programs bring together design thinking, prototyping skills and product delivery that allows students to build their technical and interpersonal skills. Each program incorporates industry, tertiary and research know-how and engages our partner school teachers in professional learning.[4]
