The russet-crowned motmot (Momotus mexicanus) is a species of bird in the family Momotidae. It is found in Guatemala and Mexico. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical dry forest, subtropical or tropical moist lowland forest, and former forests that have been heavily degraded.
