Molly Yeh (born May 22, 1988)[2][3][4] is an American chef, blogger, cookbook author and former percussionist.

Early life

Yeh was born in Glenview, Illinois[1][5] to clarinetist parents John Bruce Yeh and Teresa Reilly. She has an older sister, Jenna, who is also a chef; as well as a younger sister, Mia.[7][8][9]

Career

In October 2016, Yeh published her first book, Molly on the Range: Recipes and Stories from An Unlikely Life on a Farm (Rodale Books), for which she won the Judges' Choice IACP Cookbook Award in 2017.[10] In June 2018, it was announced that Yeh would be hosting a cooking show on Food Network.[11] The series, Girl Meets Farm, debuted on June 24, 2018.[12][13]

Personal life

Yeh is of Chinese and Jewish descent.[11][14] Yeh was raised in Glenview, Illinois, moved to Brooklyn, and then moved to the Minnesota-North Dakota region after graduating college.[5][15][14][6] Yeh met her husband, Nick Hagen, when they were both music majors at Juilliard School;[6][16] they married in 2014.[4]
