The Moldova national under-17 football team is the youth football team of Moldova. The team is based mostly on the young players from the league and competes every year to qualify for the UEFA European Under-17 Championship and every two years to qualify for the FIFA U-17 World Cup. The team played its first match in 1994, Moldova had been part of the USSR until 1991.
