Mohandas Gandhi is an outdoor bronze sculpture depicting Mahatma Gandhi by Kantilal B. Patel, located at Union Square in Manhattan, New York.[1] The statue was dedicated on October 2, 1986, the 117th anniversary of Gandhi's birth; civil rights leader Bayard Rustin delivered a keynote speech at the ceremony. It was donated by the Gandhi Memorial International Foundation and underwritten by Mohan B. Murjani of Murjani International.[2]
