Mohan Mallikarjunagouda Shantanagoudar (born 5 May 1958 in Chikkerur, Haveri District, Karnataka) is an Indian Judge. He was appointed as a Judge of the Supreme court of India on 17 February 2017.[1] He has also served as the Chief Justice of the Kerala High Court before his elevation to the Supreme Court of India.[2] He initially practiced at the Karnataka High Court as an advocate, later appointed as the Additional Judge in 2003, and elevated as a permanent judge of the Karnataka High Court on 29 September 2004.[3] He was appointed as the acting chief justice of the Kerala High Court on 1 August 2016.[4] He took the oath as Chief Justice of the Kerala High Court on 22 September 2016.[5][6]
