Mohammed Sadiq (diplomat)

Mohammed Sadiq is a retired Pakistani diplomat.[1] Mr. Sadiq serves as Chairman/CEO of Sid Group of Companies. Mr. Sadiq most recently served as Secretary to the National Security Division Cabinet_Committee_on_National_Security_(Pakistan) (CCNS). He retired from the Pakistan Government in October, 2016. He served as Pakistan's ambassador to Afghanistan, (December 2008 to December 2014). He has held a number of other senior posts within the Pakistan Ministry of Foreign Affairs, including deputy Chief of Mission at the Embassy of Pakistan in Washington, D.C. as Minister/Deputy Chief of Mission in August 2002. As Deputy Ambassador to the United States, Mr. Sadiq launched the first ever internship program by the Pakistan Embassy. He also conducted a comprehensive study of Pakistani American community and worked with Pakistan American community to establish the Pakistan Caucus at Capitol Hill.
