Mochnate [mɔxˈnatɛ] (Belarusian: Махнатае, Podlachian: Mochnáte, Ukrainian: Мохнате) is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Hajnówka, within Hajnówka County, Podlaskie Voivodeship, in north-eastern Poland, close to the border with Belarus.[1] It lies approximately 9 kilometres (6 mi) west of Hajnówka and 49 km (30 mi) south-east of the regional capital Białystok.

The village has a population of 350.
