Mitochondrial fission factor (Mff) is a protein that in humans is encoded by the MFF gene.[3]

Mff is an outer mitochondrial membrane protein that binds to the Drp1 GTPase that controls mitochondrial fission. The Mff-Drp1 complex promotes mitochondrial fission.[4] Mff also regulates peroxisome morphology.[5]
