Mississippi Murder is a 2017 American mystery crime thriller film starring Luke Goss, Malcolm McDowell and Bryan Batt. It is based on Martha Mabey's 1996 novel Artists Die Best in Black.[1]

Production
The film was shot in 2013 in locations throughout South Mississippi, particularly Biloxi.[1]
Lawsuit
Juliet Landau was initially cast for the female lead. After she was replaced by Kate Orsini, Landau sued the producers of the film. The suit was settled on August 2013.[1]
