Mishkat Varma (born 17 November 1989) is an Indian television actor and model.[1][2] He was born in Delhi and brought up in Mumbai. He is a trained dancer and was a part of Shiamak Davar dancing troupe.

Early life and family

Mishkat Varma is born to a Punjabi father, Dilip Varma and South-Indian Mother, Uma Varma. He did his schooling from Bombay Scottish School, Mahim and College from Mithibai College. His elder sister, Mihika Verma is also an Indian television actress.[3]

Career

Mishkat Varma started his career with modelling and shooting for various advertisements. He made his television debut in 2014 with Aur Pyaar Ho Gaya as Raj Purohit. He was nominated for Fresh New Face Male in Indian Telly Awards for the role. Then he went on to portray the role of Kabir in Nisha Aur Uske Cousins. The show gave him massive popularity among the youth. He was also nominated in the Asian Viewers Television Awards 2015.[4] In 2016, he played the role of Josy Nair in Bindass's Yeh Hai Aashiqui.[5] In the same year he portrayed the role of Babbal Pratap in SAB TV's Ichhapyaari Naagin.[6] In 2018, he was seen as Shaurya in &TV's Laal Ishq.[7]
