Miodrag "Mija" Stefanović (Serbian Cyrillic: Миодраг Мија Стефановић) was a Serbian basketball player and coach.
Playing career
Stefanović played for the Belgrade team Crvena zvezda in Yugoslav First League. During 1946 season with Crvena zvezda he won the Yugoslav Championships.[1]
Yugoslavia national team
As a player for the Yugoslavia national basketball team Stefanović participated at the 1947 Eurobasket.[2]
Coaching career
Stefanović coached Partizan during 1953 seasons in the Yugoslav First League.[3]
National teams
Stefanović coached Austria men's national team at the EuroBasket 1951.
Stefanović coached Yugoslavia women's national team on two European Women's Basketball Championships (1962 and 1964).[4]
Career achievements and awards
- Yugoslav League champion: 1 (with Crvena zvezda: 1946).
