The Ministry of the Interior Academy of the Republic of Belarus is a Belarusian military institution located in Minsk, Belarus. It is part of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Belarus.

History

The Minsk High School of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the USSR was established on May 16, 1958 on the basis of the Minsk Police Academy of the USSR. The structural units of the IMS became the Faculty of distance learning, faculty training, Vilnius and Riga Faculty full-time-distance learning.

On the basis of IMS Ministry of Internal Affairs of the USSR in April 1992 was established police academy, which since September 1995 has the status of Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Belarus Academy.[1]
