Ministry of Justice and Solicitor General of Alberta
The Ministry of Justice and Solicitor General of Alberta is both the legal advisor (as Attorney General and Minister of Justice) and legal officer (as Solicitor General) in charge of law enforcement agencies in the province (excluding the RCMP). The ministry was created in 2012 by merging the Ministry of Justice and Attorney General and Ministry of the Solicitor General.
The current Minister in charge of this Ministry is Kathleen Ganley.[1]
