Ministry of Justice (Bahrain)
The Ministry of Justice of Bahrain was established shortly after Bahrain achieved independence in 1971. The ministry replaced the Department of Justice, and began overseeing all administrative aspects related to the court system while staying in keeping with the Supreme Council of the Judiciary and all relevant bodies in the justice system and law enforcement.[1] By 2005, the ministry was renamed as the Ministry of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments due to the added task of regulating and supervising any political affiliations.
