Minembwe is a territory formed near Uvira, South Kivu in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC).

Their official status as territory is a source of tension between the different components of the Transitional Government of the DRC in early 2006.[1] Protests have filed in regards to the creation of the two territories from the territory of Fizi by the RDC.[2]
