Miles Okazaki

Miles Okazaki (born 1974) is an American guitarist and composer.[1] He lives in Brooklyn, New York. Okazaki is currently assistant professor of jazz guitar at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. [2]

Early life

Okazaki was born in Pullman, Washington in 1974. He grew up in the Pacific Northwest, in Port Townsend, Washington. From a young age he was exposed to music and art, primarily because his mother was a painter and his father was a photography professor at Washington State University.
