Mike Law (climber)

Mike Law (The Claw) is an Australian rockclimber known for establishing routes across the country especially in the Blue Mountains.[1]

Climbing

He became prominent in the New Wave Australian climbing scene when he made the ffa of Janicepts (21) aged 15.[2]

He went on to establish routes around Victoria and NSW, notably the Blue Mountains and Arapiles where he becamse known for sandbagging and gave routes "The lowest grade [he] could without laughing".[3]

Career

He went to university aged 26, got a PhD in Nuclear Physics.
