Mikael Ymer (born 9 September 1998 in Skara) is a Swedish tennis player of Ethiopian descent. He is the younger brother of fellow tennis player Elias Ymer.[1]

Career

Ymer has a career high ATP singles ranking of World No. 294, achieved on 13 August 2018. In the ATP doubles ranking his career high is 187, achieved on 16 October 2017.

Ymer made his first junior major final at 2015 Wimbledon, where he lost to Reilly Opelka in straight sets.

In 2015 Ymer managed to claim his second European Championships title (U18), beating Bernabé Zapata Miralles in the final in straight sets.
