Mihir Swarup[1] Sharma is the Opinion Editor for Business Standard.[2][3] Prior to that he worked as a journalist for Indian Express.[4]

Sharma is a Harvard-educated economist[4] and has written a book called Restart: The Last Chance for the Indian Economy in which he discusses the problems facing the Indian economy.[2]
